Climbing Trees is Terrorism

Bullhorn Guy It seems that, in England, climbing trees on public land is now considered “anti-social behaviour.” The Daily Mail (okay, not the most intelligent or solid source of information on the planet) reports on three 12-year-old kids who were hauled into jail, had mug shots and DNA samples taken, and thrown in a cell for a couple of hours for this very thing. Seems the police wanted to teach them a lesson, and nip the tree climbing in the bud while they’re still young. Have to stop them now before they become hardened climbers, you know. You can read the full article for more. No, the title of my entry here doesn’t really reflect that article, but it seems to fit the attitude of our “regulators” as of late.
