I’ve never received a spam comment on Livejournal….hmmmm.

That’s because 1.) No one knows you’re there, and 2.) They have things in place to stop the spam, which is why I’m thinking of doing the same. But unlike LiveJournal, I don’t want to force cookies or possible invasive scripts on your computer. LiveJournal may work for you, but it has none of the control or options that I crave. And, to me, it’s very ugly and has no personality. At least if my site is ugly, it’s because I suck, not the service. Is WordPress perfect? No. But it’s the best I’ve currently found for my needs,
No, I don’t want to have to approve every comment. It’s a pain and a hassle, and I’m sure if I think hard, I can find something more useful to do with my time.
Basically, this post is your chance to have some input on the commenting process. If it annoys you to have to log in to comment, then this is an opportunity to vote on options, rather than just piss about it.
